🎶Workshop: “Vocal Techniques Workshop”
🎤Seminar: “Breath, Posture, and Voice Exercises in Vocal Training”
In this workshop and seminar:
• Participants will develop the habit of correct breathing,
• Participants will learn correct posture and stage presence,
• Participants’ vocal range and quality will improve,
• Participants will enhance their sense of rhythm,
• Participants will overcome issues with tongue, jaw, and lip tension,
• Exercises supporting correct articulation and speech training will be provided,
• Confidence-building work will be conducted for participants who have difficulty speaking in public or feel shy,
• Various stage techniques for improving focus and reducing distraction will be taught,
• Techniques for maintaining voice health for individuals singing Pop, Jazz, Rock, Turkish Art Music, Turkish Folk Music, and those involved in theater, whether amateur or professional, will be shared,
• Participants will learn how to improve their performance while singing,
• Participants will receive international-level training and
• Repertoire work with professionals will be conducted.

Who is Kıvanç Kanber?
Kıvanç Kanber began his music education in 2014 after being accepted into the 9 Eylül University Stage Arts Opera-Singing Department, initially performing leading roles in various musicals staged by the Theater Opera Ballet Foundation (TOBAV) (2013 Dreams Street Musical — 2014 Incigül Musical). He also performed tenor roles in various concerts at the İsmet İnönü Art Center with the İzmir Art Multivoice Choir (Conductor: Ali Hoca). He started his conservatory education with Tenor Aydın Uştuk, Director of İzmir State Opera and Ballet, at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. He took part in the play "Life Told Us" staged by the meditational dance expert and general art director Öğr. Gör. Sevinç Renkver at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. In the same year, he worked on a vocal masterclass with Zurich Opera House singer Roberto Scandiuzzi. During his continued education, he performed Carl Orff's Carmina Burana at the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center in collaboration with Mozart Academy and the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. He then continued his vocal training with Associate Professor Ahmet Alper Kazancıoğlu at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. In the "Stage Night" directed by Associate Professor Ahmet Alper Kazancıoğlu, he performed the VivatBacchus tenor duet of the Pedrillo-Osmin characters composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He received stage theory and technical interpretation lessons from Italian Director Giovanna Marestaile. In the summer of 2018, he took a three-month language course at St Giles International in London. In November 2018, he participated as a choir artist in the world premiere of the melodrama "Sensin Atatürk" for chamber choir and symphonic orchestra, composed by Tolga Taviş, conductor at İzmir State Opera and Ballet, and performed by İzmir State Opera and Ballet artist Altuğ Dilmaç. He also took part in the İzmir Festival Orchestra and choir’s season-ending concert at the Adnan Saygun Art Center, conducted by Emin Güven, alongside bass-baritone Burak Bilgili, soprano Nurdan Küçükekmekçi, and tenor Burak Kut. He attended the "VOICE ISTANBUL International Conference on Voice in All Aspects" held from September 19-22, 2019, organized by the Association of Professional Voice, the Association of Speech and Language Therapists, and Medipol University, co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Kürşat Yelken and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevtap Akbulut. He performed as a choir artist in Mozart's Don Giovanni under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Alper Kazancıoğlu in collaboration with Bursa Pamukkale State Conservatory and 9 Eylül University State Conservatory, presenting two performances at Bursa Merinos AKKM and İzmir Sabancı Cultural Center. He completed his vocal training with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Alper Kazancıoğlu at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory and obtained a Pedagogical Formation Education Certificate from Ege University Faculty of Education. He concluded his training with various vocal concerts, stage events, and theater masterclasses, including performing the tenor role of Danilo in Franz Lehar’s operette Die Lustige Witwe (The Merry Widow). He then took on the role of vocal instructor at the Asuman Dabak Theater School and continued as a vocal instructor at the Alkış Music and Ballet course’s voice workshop section. He participated in the "Donald Gray Miller Singing Voice Science Workshop A subsidiary of Richard Lissemore" in New York, which combined science, pedagogy, and performance, receiving training in anatomy and physiology, vocal pedagogy for classical and popular styles, basic acoustics, vocal tract mechanics, electroglottography (EGG), ultrasound imaging of the tongue, respiratory science, auditory science, medical voice disorders, and course design. He received training in the visual feedback software program "VoceVistaVideo Program," designed and developed by Donald Gray Miller, which features both acoustic output and vocal tract contact coefficient. He is currently making clinical observations of professional voice practitioners at the Vocology Center with Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlter Denizoğlu. He performed at Kenan Doğulu’s 100th Anniversary concert, conducted by Murat Cem Orhon, the conductor of the State Opera and Ballet. He is currently working as a vocal instructor and also continues to work as a Vocal Coach and Studio Recording Coach.
