*Who is Nilüfer Akdoğu?
Nilüfer Akdoğu, a pianist, academic, composer, lyricist, and singer-songwriter, completed her Piano Department studies at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory. She earned her Master's degree at Yaşar University, where she conducted research on the life and music of Shostakovich. She worked as a pianist for opera, orchestra, choir, and ballet at the İzmir State Opera and Ballet, and also taught piano during her free time from opera. During this period, she worked with children with autism. She is currently a piano instructor at Ege University.

During a challenging period in her life, she began painting and writing songs. This process led her to explore jazz playing and singing, which had always been her desire. In this new world she began to discover, making her lyrics known in this region became one of her priorities. She started to create her own music by blending her classical piano training with the various music genres she has listened to. Her first album, "Aristo’ya İnat," was released on May 13, 2021, on all platforms. The album, which features lyrics and music by Nilüfer Akdoğu, reflects a slice of the artist’s own life.
