🎶Workshop: "Improvisation Techniques on the Piano"
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to work on improvisation. Any questions participants may have will be addressed. They will also be able to work with the artist on piano techniques they find difficult to apply or are struggling with. Even if they can't perform it at that moment, they will gain insights into what and how they should practice. Additionally, they will have the chance to perform one or more pieces together.

Who is Seda Balcı?
Seda Balcı began playing the piano at the age of 7 and completed ten years of classical piano education at Çukurova University State Conservatory in 2011. While teaching piano in Antalya for three years, she also received a Pedagogical Formation education from Akdeniz University. During this time, she started studying jazz, working with Genco Arı from 2014 to 2015, and began her master's degree in jazz piano at Yaşar University. During this education, she briefly worked as a ballet pianist at the State Conservatory of Dokuz Eylül University. In 2018, she completed her master's degree in the Jazz Piano Department at Yaşar University. Her thesis was titled "An Examination of Interplay Elements on Bill Evans’ 'The Complete Village Vanguard' Recordings."
Throughout her master's education, she participated in workshops by notable musicians such as Ali Perret, Valentin Conus, Onur Puza, Tamer Temel, Ercüment Orkut, Ricky Ford, and Elif Çağlar, organized at her university and İzmir Music Academy.
Since her university years, she has also developed her interest in vocals, performing as both a vocalist and pianist in Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Rock bands. In 2016, she formed the band "Keep Rollin'," creating funk and soul-focused music with jazz elements. The band went on a Kenya tour in 2019 and released their album "So Far So Good" in 2021.
Currently, Balcı performs various concerts with her project Noisev, which combines acoustic elements with electronic music, has released two songs, and continues to record her own compositions in her home studio while also teaching private piano lessons.
