🎶Workshop: “Maqam Music Studies in Different Languages”
Participants will perform pieces in different languages in this workshop. They will join the choir and acquire a repertoire. While doing this, they will see their working methods.

The choir, which started its works remotely during the pandemic under the direction of Güvenç Birer Sanat, continued by meeting every month in Bremen and gave many concerts. The choir has a repertoire in all languages with maqam music, within the axis of Turkish Music, and performs these in its concerts. The birth of the choir, which continues its works hosted by Westend Kultur Werkstatt; dates back to 2016, when artists from İzmir and the people of Bremen met within the scope of the İzmir&Bremen Sister City Project.
